Welcome to my webpage. I'm Jan and I'm was living 2015 and 16 summers in my Fanø B&B The Captainshouse. This is what they say in Fanø about this type of villa (Kaptajns Villa) - the house on Mellemgaden 18, which I made into a Bed & Breakfast, preparing for my boatbuilding and Seasport Tourism Agency plans in Denmark.

During years I have collected owners of splendid yachts, who again have given me a "er-selling and boat care"contract, so their boats can be hired for cruises around Med, Caribe and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, my second home, for the wintertime.

Seasport Tourism.
Since early 70ties I worked in tourism and 76 made my first windsurfing school in Gran Canaria followed by many years as sailing skipper on deliveries ou charter in 60 to 250 footers sailboats. The many ports and beaches I visited, were under equipped with seaport allthough in many place the beaches were main sports locations f.ex. Copacabana. I will work for development of a Seaport Center in Fanø, were f.ex. you can easily learn sailing on the carts on the beaches and continue with the perfect tide, current and windy sailing areas in Waddensea, were you find shallow flat waters with high winds and challenging sailing. Also kite, surf, windsurf , stand up and all kinds of rowing can be easily tought and rented. To perfecting all with courses "on land, hands on and digital" thru development in our former merchant seamen school, of tall ship trainers, simulators, rules and regulations education programs adding the many local capacities in developers and experienced sailors. All combining with the tradition here in Danish shipping history and Esbjerg being wind power capital of the world.
Nordby can make increased attention by organizing first land regatta, maybe even in the town regatta, hard wind sailing courses ( we do have Maersk and Nutec safety traning close) and the next trend "foil sailing" development .
